Virtus was founded on basic principles. Work hard to take care of clients and take pride in every project. Virtus's founder has worked closely with clients, building engineers, property managers, subcontractors, architects and support staff for over 17 years to make sure all needs are understood and met. This experience and feedback in both the field and project management/administration has helped pave the way for the Virtus framework.

Our experience includes a variety of projects from simple tenant improvements to more complex full floor build-outs. At each stage of construction, VBC ensures coordination with the client, building, architect and engineers to deliver a successful project.
Historic renovations can be challenging. VBC works closely with the project team to help plan for these occurrences, taking a proactive approach to help mitigate and/or eliminate any surprises. Our team has completed multi-million dollar historic renovations which have included scopes ranging from strengthening the existing structural elements to cutting a hole in a high rise to install a poured in place commercial jacuzzi.
Capital upgrades can be challenging in any occupied building. The VBC team understands the needs and challenges of keeping the doors open while upgrading your assets. VBC works hard to minimize interruptions and provide a safe path of travel for all occupants. Our experience includes phasing and barricade systems as part of our approach for a smooth running project.
The trend for creative office space is growing and VBC can help make the vision a reality. Understanding client needs and vision are critical part of the construction delivery process. VBC works in collaboration with the design team to ensure that the space meets and exceeds the design intent.
Virtus Residentials understands the complexities of multi-family development projects. Virtus Residentials works with the top multi-family subcontractors, along with an in-house team of experienced professionals to assist in the growing need for multi-family housing.
Our team has experience and knowledge completing ADU's that not only help in battling the housing crisis, but also add value and extra income to existing lots. VBC has a team that can assist in determining the needs and requirements to help in the process from start to finish.
ADU's can include detached dwelling, garage conversions, attached addition to an existing home and interior conversions.
Catastrophes, such as the 1994 Northridge Earthquake, have shown us that buildings are extremely vulnerable due to the nature of their construction and age. With the ever remaining threat looming over Southern California, it is highly recommended that all at-risk properties be prepared . The newly adopted Seismic Retrofit Program will apply to all existing apartment buildings of wood-frame construction, two-stories or higher and built before January 1st, 1978 with four units or more. According to the Los Angeles Department of Building and Safety, there are an estimated 12,000 possible buildings that match this criteria.
